The family running the castle were warm, helpful, and attentive, and made us feel looked after from booking through checkout. They even welcomed our ferret Sheldon and treated him so gently. It’s rare to find a place this friendly to animals. We came as a couple for a quick break from work and were impressed by the relaxing setting, spacious comfortable room, and clean spa with careful attention to detail. The outdoor areas are lovely too, with green space, a pool, and a paddle tennis court. We also booked a Pilates class and really enjoyed it. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back soon.

A really relaxing weekend. With only a few rooms, it’s easy to enjoy the small but complete spa, with a whirlpool, Turkish bath, and sauna. The owners are top notch. Recommended.

Such a beautiful, well-kept place, and the owners were very kind. I came for the Pilates classes, but I’ll definitely return for the suites and spa. Worth trying!
