Azienda Agrituristica La Valle del Sambuco

We spent four days here in August. The place is beautiful and almost new, and the bathroom had everything we needed. Our quadruple room wasn’t especially spacious, but it worked well. There’s an indoor ladder with staggered rungs up to the two mezzanine beds. Breakfast was superb, every cake full of flavor, and the service was always warm and attentive. The garden is well kept, with a marquee where you can sit and enjoy the cool air. Kids have a big play area with a trampoline. Enjoy your stay.

The checkout left us with a bitter feeling. The lady scolded us for not having cash for the tourist tax, even though we were willing to withdraw some and simply hadn’t known. We’re polite people and would never want to cause trouble for a worker. Why lecture us, then let us pay by debit card? The location and outdoor space are lovely, with a beautiful view. The modest rooms were very clean, and breakfast had good ingredients and homemade cakes that changed daily.

The price is quite reasonable, and there’s ample convenient parking. We keep coming back for our annual Saint Rita pilgrimage in May, so book early. The welcoming, comfortable rooms come with keys to the entrance doors, which means no time restrictions. Best of all is breakfast, made and served by the owner, Teresa, with help from her daughters.

The highlight was breakfast, especially the fantastic cakes Mrs. Terrsa made herself. The owner welcomed us wonderfully, and the garden was tidy and full of flowers. We had a large, clean, quiet quadruple room with a mezzanine and spent two nights here. Congratulations on everything, highly recommended.
