The garden was kept beautifully, and the private pool made it easy to unwind. We stayed in one of three separate apartments, furnished with a tasteful mix of vintage and antique pieces. It was peaceful and private, and the place was spotless. The staff were welcoming, too. Set in the lovely Sicilian countryside, the property is just minutes from the beaches at San Lorenzo and the small village of Marzamemi. It's also handy for visiting the Vendicari Nature Reserve and Noto. The apartments have air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and fully equipped kitchens. I had a memorable stay at **Il Baglio il Gelso e l'Ulivo**, and can't wait to come back. A great place to relax and enjoy Sicily.

We spent two lovely weeks here for my brother's wedding. The house felt peaceful, tucked away in the countryside, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The owners were warm and helpful, always ready with advice and making sure things were going well. Inside, it was tastefully furnished and spotless, with thoughtful details throughout. The pool was a welcome place to cool off on hot summer days. "Il Gelso e l'Ulivo" is a real countryside gem. I'd happily return, and recommend it to anyone looking for a restful, memorable holiday.

We had a wonderful short stay with the family in 2023. After a day out, coming back to relax by the pool was lovely. The place is quiet and rural, yet close to the coast and to Marzamemi, Pachino, Avola, and Noto. Go, you won't regret it.

There was a pool, hot tub, and bikes available, and the owners and staff were so kind and helpful. The property is beautiful, spotless, and peaceful, in a great spot in the Sicilian countryside. Hard to ask for more, it's a little paradise.

The lovely pool was on site, but the beach was only a few minutes away. We stayed just 4 nights and were welcomed by signora Maria, what a force of nature. We also met the owners, a truly exceptional Tuscan family. The apartment was new and comfortable, with very high-quality materials. The location was strategic.
