Terranova 49

With the afternoon sun at 32°C and seven pieces of luggage, we couldn’t open Terranova49’s main gate to unload because nobody had the key. There’s no parking either, so we had to squeeze onto a side street and carry all our bags along the sidewalk in the heat. Inside, the air conditioning hadn’t been switched on because staff said it wasn’t the season, even though our room was 25.8°C. We barely slept and were completely uncomfortable. Then, early the next morning, we watched a garbage collector open that same gate with a code. Apparently a key wasn’t needed after all, just some planning. Our last stop before the airport was miserable. Is this Italian hospitality? No arrivederci from me, just a firm BYE BYE. Terranova49, treat paying guests like guests next time.

The neighborhood isn’t especially nice, but you can walk here from the train station. We couldn’t book through booking.com, so we contacted the staff directly and they were very kind. There’s a supermarket across the street for food and snacks, and it made for a great stay. Just missing wine glasses :)

The loft was clean and had all the comforts we needed. It’s simple but cozy, easy to reach, and there’s parking nearby. Everything was well organized, and we’d happily stay again.

A warm, welcoming hotel where I slept really well. The staff are always kind, respectful, and ready to help, and both reception and the cleaning team were professional and attentive to any need. I recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, relaxing evening. Rating: 10.
