Kore Home

The property was clean, comfortable and cosy, and breakfast was amazing. Christine is a generous host who stayed attentive even though we arrived late.

The room itself was adequate, but issues with privacy and how the amenities were presented affected my stay. The listing shows a coffee machine and cups among the apartment photos and amenities. When we arrived, we found the machine was only available at breakfast. Management brushed off our concern about that misleading presentation. Coffee with breakfast is standard at most places, so I don't think that explains showing a machine in the apartment photos. There were security cameras all over the property, which gave it an uncomfortable “Big Brother” feeling. Most concerning was a HiKvision camera facing our private balcony. Management said it was aimed at the entrance for security, but it was unmistakably pointed at our outdoor space. People concerned about privacy should know these specific HiKvision models have built-in microphones, whether or not management acknowledges that capability. I can provide the exact camera specifications if anyone disputes it again. When we raised the issues, the response was dismissive and unprofessional: “For direction rule the kitchen is not usable is only for the staff for prepare the breakfast and in the community area there are the camera 👍😉” Potential guests should think carefully about whether accurate amenity descriptions and privacy matter to them.

When I arrived for my two-night stay, the door was jammed and wouldn't open. The host came over, couldn't get it open either, then started shouting at us, insulting us and accusing us of breaking it. I found that outrageous and absurd. She offered no solution or alternative, only said we'd get our money back and should find somewhere else. Booking.com eventually refunded us two days later. I expected at least some professionalism, but there was none. Luckily, we found another hotel that was ten times more professional. It was a terrible experience, and I honestly wonder if the good reviews are AI-generated. Or I really don't understand what made the host, Cristina, behave and shout like that that day. Either way, avoid Kore Home if you don't want your vacation ruined.

Clean, comfortable rooms in a quiet neighborhood, with easy parking and self check-in. It's an Airbnb-style bed and breakfast with shared common space. The WiFi is weak in some areas.
