Villa Anastasia

Villa Anastasia gave my wife and me a lovely place to unwind. It’s away from the crowds but still close enough to enjoy Costa Smeralda and northern Sardinia. We especially liked ending the day by the infinity pool, relaxing or taking a refreshing dip. Francesca and Federico were warm, attentive, funny, and full of helpful information whenever we had a question. Francesca’s breakfasts and dinners were better than eating out, both for the food and the ingredients. We’re glad to give the villa our highest rating.

The view from the rooms and pool is just perfect, and the property sits off the main road, so it’s completely quiet. The hosts were wonderful, and their dinner was some of the best food we had on the island. Remember to order it in the morning. They also gave us great advice for whatever we wanted to do during our stay.

The setting is beautiful, with spacious, clean rooms, a large terrace, and a spectacular view. Watching the sunrise from there was a real highlight. There are a few things that could be better. The TV signal was so poor that we didn’t use it. Breakfast was okay, with one dish included, such as eggs. Cheese or ham cost an extra €5, and if you ordered two dishes, they charged for the more expensive one. It may only have been €2, but it left us feeling ripped off. Dinner is available if you order the night before. We tried it, but didn’t think it was worth the price. The risotto was €18 per person and only available for two, while a really good restaurant nearby had better service and atmosphere for less. We asked for local recommendations and got some, though it would have felt more welcoming to receive information without having to ask. Little details can be the difference between feeling at home and simply having somewhere to sleep. This place has so much potential, and it’s a pity that it lacked a sense of coziness and care.

A lovely little hideaway with a superb view across the bay and out to sea. The hosts are friendly, and dinner here is good and generous. It also saves you the trek to find somewhere else to eat.
