The room was filthy, with buildup in the bathroom sinks and on the walls. We also found THREE scutigeres crawling around on the floor and walls. There was mold, the bathroom fan didn't work, and there was no air conditioning or even a fan for the room. A dead mouse sat in the courtyard for both days of our stay, and the place was full of bugs. We couldn't leave because it was late and we had a very small child with us. The stairs were steep and narrow, hard to manage with luggage and little kids, and the key opened all the other doors too. We never saw the owner, Alessandro. It's an experience I'll never forget. It's a shame, because the owner had seemed helpful.

We had a good couple of days here through a Smartbox. The room was basic but clean and had what we needed, and at night it was completely dark and quiet. Breakfast had a nice mix of sweet and savory things, plus fruit. The location worked well, a few kilometers from Finale Ligure center, with bars and restaurants within walking distance. When we booked several months ahead, we were told straight away that confirming the reservation required an extra €15 per person per night. I’d read some negative reviews, but our stay went well.

It's a lovely, clean and welcoming place in a charming little Ligurian village, about a 15-minute drive from Finale Ligure. Parking in front of the inn is really only suitable for a small car like a Panda or Yaris. With a larger car, it's better to leave it at the bottom of the steps before entering the village. I didn't see the owner at all. The receptionist and the cleaning lady gave us the keys.
