The price is OK, but there were several problems. The apartments didn’t have a dishwasher, even though it was listed in the description and confirmation on Booking.com. There weren’t enough parking spaces for the number of apartments, and we had exactly four plates and four sets of cutlery. At check-in we had to pay a €150.00 deposit in cash. It would only be returned after an inspection on the day we left. Why not take a card, as most accommodations worldwide do? Nobody came at the agreed time, so we had to call the staff to find out what was happening. Garbage collection was another issue. There was only one bin for each type of waste, and some bins were too small. By midday they were already overflowing, with rubbish piled on the ground around them.

After 15 years of using booking, I’ve never had this happen before. We chose a room with a terrace, based on the photos of the specific apartment we selected, not the main photos, and that terrace was included in the reservation. When we arrived, our room had no balcony or terrace at all. We were then told that all the rooms with balconies or terraces were occupied and there was no way to switch. Only one type of room, with a terrace, had been visible while booking. We selected that room and ended up with one without a balcony or terrace. I feel the hotel misled us.

The apartment was spacious, quiet, and in excellent condition, and it’s only a few kilometers from the beaches and close to the center of Orosei. The building has three floors but no elevator, which wasn’t mentioned on booking.
