I had a great time, even though I was there for just one night, and my main regret is not staying longer. Locanda San Lorenzo is run by a very friendly Italian couple, and it’s a spacious, sunny place overlooking a winery and the surrounding hills. A lovely spot to recharge and switch off from everyday life. The owners are super nice, and we kept finding little extras: good espresso, breakfast croissants, water and milk, a free pool, and late checkout. It’s such a good B&B that I’m thinking of coming back with my family for a few days of relaxing. Highly recommended!

Fresh croissants left on the shelf at the apartment entrance were a lovely touch from the kind owners. The apartments are spacious, clean, and well cared for, with comfortable rooms, a kitchen, and dining area. The ground-floor unit has a large balcony or garden area, and the pool looks out over the gardens. Highly recommended. The road there isn’t very easy, though it’s manageable.

Breakfast was a real highlight, especially the croissants. We also had a great view of the village from the hillside near Orte, and the room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The road could use some work, and a few details on the bathroom faucets could be improved.
