The staff were genuinely friendly, but that was the main bright spot. The rooms were okay, and the restaurant was nice, though overpriced. We stayed in May and it felt a little creepy because I’m pretty sure we were the only guests. The town was quiet too, and the hotel restaurant was the only place we could find to eat. The spa was closed, and nobody told us before we arrived, even though it was the main reason we booked. The website also gives a false impression of the hotel. It’s not modern at all. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re on a ski trip, since there’s not much else to do nearby.

The setting is lovely, with tall fir trees on two sides, and the staff were professional and helpful from the start. The rooms, furnishings, and bathrooms were all very nice. This is a ski hotel, so it’s not the Hyatt, and the TVs were on the small side, around 17-inch monitors or so. The breakfast was decent too, even if it wasn’t the Ritz Carlton. I’d stay again if I get the chance.
