Caterina made generous, delicious breakfasts each morning, and the rooms were cleaned and towels replaced every day. The place was spotless, with plenty of parking for guests. It’s only about 6 km from the port of Trapani, and Scopello and Castellammare del Golfo are roughly an hour away. Marausa beach, the Nubian Salt Pans and the Nubian Tower are all just a short walk away. The owners are friendly and professional, and make you feel comfortable. Highly recommended.

Margherita welcomed us warmly and gave us helpful ideas for places to visit and eat. We spent a great week here. It’s very quiet, close to the salt flats, and well placed for exploring the island. Also handy if you’re flying into Trapani Airport.

The maestrale delayed our departure for Pantelleria, so this family-run B&B became our little refuge. It’s tucked into peaceful countryside between Trapani and Marsala, just a few metres from the salt pans. We turned the unexpected wait into a couple of enjoyable days visiting Erice, Segesta and Marsala, plus some time to rest on the scenic beaches of S.Teodoro and near Lido Signorino. All were easy to reach by car from Nubia.

The rooms are roomy, quiet and clean, and the atmosphere is friendly. Breakfast was generous with plenty of variety. It’s a useful base for western Sicily, with places like Erice, the Egadi Islands, Segesta, San Vito, Scopello, Marsala, Mazara and Mozia all doable as day trips before heading back.

A clean, welcoming place, and peaceful too. It’s right by the salt pans, which makes a good base for seeing western Sicily: Erice, San Vito lo Capo, Marsala, Segesta, Selinunte and Mazzara del Vallo.
