Management moved quickly the next morning to put things right. They gave me an upgraded room at no extra charge, and it was in great condition and fully functional. The daytime staff were very polite, professional, and attentive. That was a proper response, though the service on my first night was unacceptable. Before that, the experience was a joke for a supposed 4-star hotel. I can't see how it earned that rating; it felt more like a 2 or 3-star place. At around €90 a night, my washbasin was completely clogged. When I asked the receptionist for maintenance or another room, she pulled the sink plug out, which obviously didn't fix it. I showed her the water still sitting there, but she shrugged, said nothing could be done, ignored me, and walked away. If you expect a working bathroom and decent service for your money, book somewhere else.

The staff were all so kind and helpful, and the hotel was one of the cleanest I've stayed in. Our room was gorgeous and huge, with a big king bed and a large, clean bathroom. The shower area was a little small, but that's me being picky. Absolutely beautiful. If you stay here, try for room 212!

The breakfast was fresh, great, and inexpensive, and the staff were especially kind and helpful. Gabriel and Michael were the standouts. The hotel felt very professional overall. It's a long way from the airport and seems geared more toward businesses in the industrial area. The shower stall is small, though that didn't bother me.

The location was lovely, and it felt peaceful in the morning. The room itself was quite spacious, though the bathroom's standing shower was cramped and the elevator was tiny. I wasn't impressed with the buffet: the egg had no taste, and there was only fizzy water, no mineral water.

The room had a good amount of space, but the bath area was so tight you could barely stand in it. I never expected hotels in Europe to ration space like that.
