Filippo made our arrival especially easy by picking us up at the railway station. He also gave us a map of Padova marked with local tips and a suggested itinerary, which was a big help for seeing the city like a local. Casa Camilla is in the heart of Padova, in a well-kept family home. Our accommodation gave us privacy while still feeling connected to the family. Breakfast was served in the main house, where Filippo’s mother made delicious homemade cakes. It was a lovely personal touch. Filippo was always a call away and eager to help. The whole stay felt like being with family, with plenty of warmth and local character. A cozy, authentic, welcoming place. Highly recommended.

We only spent one night at Casa Camilla in December 2024, but Filippo and his family were so welcoming and helpful that we’d like to return for a longer stay. Our en suite room was beautiful and opened onto the garden. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a long time, and Filippo’s suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing in Padua were spot on.

Paola, Filippo’s Mom, made an ample, delicious breakfast. Our triple room was spacious and well equipped, and the whole family went out of their way to make us feel looked after. They picked us up from the station when we arrived, took us back when we left, and gave us a lift to the city center every day. I highly recommend staying here in Padova.

The map he gave us, with the attractions marked, was easy to follow and really useful. We took the bus back, and right by the stop was an Italian restaurant he’d recommended. We ate well for cheap, and the apartment was only 200 meters away on foot. Such a great host. Highly recommended!
