Alfonso knows the area well and is very accommodating. He’ll help with directions and advice on where to eat and where to avoid. The comfortable rooms put you right in the middle of everything. My family would stay here again in Palermo. Use Uber rather than taking a taxi without getting it through Uber. Alfonso will explain. Chow….

The rooms are spotless and beautiful, with modern furnishings and a bit of retro Sicilian style. Each one is named for one of the three nearby markets, and the restored furniture is a joy to look at. Alfonso gave us a fantastic welcome and was very friendly. The location is amazing, just two minutes from the lively Via Maqueda and its restaurants and bars. All three markets are a short walk away, and the main sights are easy to reach. One of the best B&Bs I’ve stayed in.

Alfonso is a kind host who’s happy to help with tips on places to visit and Sicilian food to try. The rooms are nice and spacious, and it’s a perfect base for seeing Palermo. Street noise carries on until midnight, but it wasn’t a major problem. The Italian breakfast was nice, and you can ask for a more continental one if you prefer. Don’t hesitate!

Alfonso is a top man, full of local knowledge, helpful, and great to chat with. He also puts on a fantastic breakfast with local specialities. The room has lovely character and style, while the furniture and facilities are clean and modern. There were local almond biscuits with tea, too. Two balconies: one looks along a main old Palermo street, and the other faces a beautiful old tower close by. Fantastic location, within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to visit.
