The location is convenient, near the train station, and the place is fairly quiet. The room looked like the photos and had air conditioning, so at first it seemed this could have been a four-star stay. But the hostess's attitude and the lack of follow-through made the experience a two-star one for me. We arrived at 1:30 PM and waited half an hour before the hostess showed up. While we filled in paperwork, the cleaning woman seemed to be cleaning our room. The hostess asked for full payment on the first day. After we paid, she spent another half hour negotiating with the cleaner and ignored us. We didn't have time to look around properly, but the room itself looked as pictured. We left at 2:40 PM and got back at 9:30 PM. Dirty dishes were still in the sink, there were two full rubbish buckets under it, a towel and floorcloth were left on the bathroom floor, and a bucket of dirty water with a mop was there too. The living room sofa had stains, with sand and debris under the cushions. The Wi-Fi wasn't working, and there were no knives or spoons. The air conditioning ran all night at 18°C, but its remote had a dead battery and there was no outlet to switch it off. We only had a sheet, no bedspread. We called the landlady in the morning and explained everything. She said she'd come to replace the batteries, bring a knife, check the Wi-Fi, and bring the missing things, but the internet still didn't work. The cleaner came in, used the last toilet paper, and went into the room. We went out expecting the place would be cleaned. When we returned, nothing had changed: the rubbish and dirty dishes remained, the floors hadn't been washed, there was no toilet paper, the internet was still down, and cockroaches were on the floor. We tried calling the landlady, but she didn't answer. Her son, who was abroad, told us she would arrive within 30 minutes and sort it out. He was genuinely surprised the cleaner hadn't done anything. Nobody came, either that evening or the next morning. Before leaving, we put the rubbish outside their door in the hope someone would notice it. I'm attaching a photo in case Google publishes it. I wouldn't recommend dealing with them. They took our money and then seemed to forget anyone was staying there.
