The location is the only real strength. Hygiene is adequate, but that doesn’t make up for the other problems. Some rooms are cramped. The shower feels unsafe without a non-slip mat, and waiting for hot water is a recurring hassle that depends on how many other guests are using it. A modern B&B shouldn’t have these plumbing problems. The foreign owner is icy and becomes outright arrogant when guests raise reasonable issues, like the shower or basic safety. Her aloof manner gets in the way of hospitality. You come looking for warmth and useful help, and instead get harshness and an assumption that she’s always right. In Sicily, I expected more humanity and solutions, not Stalinist etiquette lessons.

The location is good, but the rooms are a gamble. If you’re lucky, you’ll get one you can live with. Otherwise, you may have to take turns getting out of bed, and you could end up showering in cold water. The host is arrogant and dismisses complaints. I wouldn’t recommend the place.

It’s in a great location, and the room was clean, though smaller than standard. I had trouble with the hot water, and the owner was very arrogant. I wouldn’t stay there again.
