The downsides stood out after staying at quite a few other places in Sicily: the bed was one of the more uncomfortable ones, the detergent smell on the sheets and towels was unusually strong, and the shower was tiny and didn’t drain well. On the plus side, the price was decent, the staff were friendly, everything was clean, and the location was good for what it cost. Self check-in instructions were clear.

We left our keys and passports in the apartment locker, and the staff retrieved our things and even took our parcel to the local post office. Such thoughtful service from Palazzo Gallo, and we’re grateful for all their effort. The apartment we booked was clean and well equipped, and the receptionists were kind and spoke excellent English. Really amazing service all around. We’d book here again if we return to Palermo.

We found the staff very helpful, and having private garage parking made things much easier. The place is modern, clean, and well located, with daily maid service. The kitchen area is nicely done, though it could use a few more utensils and especially a coffee maker. I’d definitely stay again.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place was clean and fresh. The shower is only 60 x 60 x 180, though, which felt much too small for a comfortable wash. If you’re on a budget, it’s a good choice and feels as good as a five-star place at that price. Attractions and restaurants are all walkable. By Namibian and South African standards, I’d rate it three stars. It’s best to have them arrange pickup and other taxi rides, since that gets you good deals.
