The people at reception were nice, and the location is good, quite close to Quattro Canti. Public parking was expensive. My room smelled old and musty, though I don't know if the others were like that.

For €46, we had a double room that worked for sleeping and showering before heading out to see the city, as long as you don't expect too much. The location is excellent, just a few steps from Teatro Massimo and Via Maqueda. The hotel could use some updating, especially the shower, which was quite black with mold. There was hot water, though, and everything worked, including the air conditioning.

The best thing here is the central Palermo location, with paid parking just below. You can explore the whole historic center from there. The building itself isn't especially attractive or welcoming, but it's adequate.

The only real plus is the very central location. Otherwise, I'd give it two stars, maybe less. The walls in the room were dirty, and the bathroom and shower tiles had mold. There was no refrigerator, and despite what the website advertised, breakfast wasn't included. Noise came from inside, mostly from inconsiderate guests, and outside from rowdy youths.
