The garden was lovely and the location was good, but that was about it. The place looked like a dungeon compared with the photos on the booking sites. It was meant for four, but the couch shown in the photo could barely fit two people. There was no washing machine in our space, so we handwashed our clothes after buying a bowl. We couldn’t find a proper place to hang them and ended up using chairs, cables, and a tree. The place wasn’t clean, especially the unbearable bathroom, which smelled terrible and had spiders. The toilet was broken, the water was cold most of the time, and there wasn’t a cloth or anything to clean with. To top it off, there was a cockroach in the bedroom, which is my biggest phobia.

We booked through Booking.com and could cancel without a fee. The house itself was nice, but extremely dirty, and the management created an unpleasant situation for guests. There were nail clippings under the bed, hair, mold, torn sheets, live animals, and larvae everywhere. Disgusting. We were seriously inconvenienced.

We had a ground-floor apartment in a great central spot in Palermo, in the Kalza neighborhood and opposite the Botanical Garden. The garden was beautiful and lush, and the living room was comfortable to use. The kitchen was a little small but laid out well. There were three bedrooms, two very spacious and one smaller, and they were spotless.
