The homemade breakfast was so good, and the owner and staff were really friendly. The hotel feels brand new, spotless, comfortable, and very luxurious, with an amazing bed and mattress. It has that natural Sicilian warmth.

Rosaria's family made the experience unforgettable. They were incredibly generous and welcoming, and I had a wonderful time at Daphnae House.

Rosaria welcomed us warmly, and our room was clean and had the equipment we needed. We'd booked a deluxe room with a balcony for two nights, expecting space for a small sofa or a couple of armchairs. In reality, only two chairs fit, and those were needed to sit outside. There wasn't a table, just a few partly wilted plants. With the street noise and all the plastic rubbish around the hotel, we hardly found the balcony usable. We hadn't reserved breakfast, but Rosaria asked if we'd like it. We said yes and mentioned that bread, butter, jam, scrambled eggs, and fruit would be enough the next morning. We didn't check the cost first, which we regretted: breakfast was good, but €18 per person felt steep. The litter and noise in the neighborhood had us thinking about leaving after only one day, even before breakfast.

Breakfast was a real highlight, tasty and thoughtfully presented. We booked spontaneously online, and it turned out to be the best choice of our whole Sicily stay. From arrival, the hostess was so welcoming and clearly did a lot to make us comfortable. The bed, mattress, and pillows gave us a kind of restful sleep that's rare on vacation. The air conditioning worked perfectly, too. Our room was spotless, with thorough daily cleaning. There’s warmth, professionalism, and a special feeling of hospitality here. We'd happily give it more than five stars. We'll be back!
