Bed Parma

A smell hit me when I opened the closet, like parmesan cheese mixed with spoiled cured meats. That was one problem among many during my one-night stay. The room was dusty and dirty, with cobwebs everywhere and clear cracks in the walls. The bathroom sink was clogged, the light looked like it might fall out, and the beds were uncomfortable. There was loud noise at night. Breakfast was basic, and the dishes were dirty, as if used overnight and put away for guests. Clothes may not make the man, but here they do. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!

The owners were very friendly. The B&B is well placed in Parma, with the center walkable or reachable by public transport. Parking is available nearby, and the airport is around 15 minutes away.

During our four July nights, the room and bathroom were never cleaned, and the linens weren’t changed either. There’s more I could say, but I’ll leave it there. Someone should inspect the property to see the situation firsthand, including the huge cobweb on a closet. The silver plaque on display doesn’t match the services that should actually be provided. This was a handy place to stay while caring for a family member at Little Sisters Hospital. The staff were very helpful, card payments were accepted, and the environment was clean and comfortable for a short stay. Since it’s at street level, you can hear the traffic, which is quite heavy.
