We booked through booking.com and are traveling across Europe on bikes. When we got to hotel violetta, the proprietor refused to let us in because bicycles weren’t allowed. He offered to leave them outside, where they’d likely be stolen. We asked for a refund, but he said we should take it up with booking. We were out 50 euros, had nowhere to stay, and were threatened with the police if we didn’t leave. We got scammed again!

About 30 minutes on foot from the train station, east of town. At roughly 31€ a day, it’s a fair place to stay. The room has at least one closet, bed, sink, nightstand, table and chair, TV with Italian shows, and a window.

The rooms are small, but nice and clean. The location near the center is really good, and for the price it’s a great deal.

There’s a good-quality supermarket right across from the hotel if you need to buy anything. The staff are kind, available, and flexible. The city center is close enough to reach by bus or on foot. I recommend it.

The staff are good, and it’s definitely an alright place to stay if you’re on a budget. I’d recommend it!
