The morning croissants were much appreciated, and the location is excellent. It’s a very large, quiet house, with the beauty of age in details like the lovely terrazzo floors. Entry was easy with the automatic door and key box.

The heating was off in the morning and there was no hot water. I notified Mrs. Giulia, but she replied more than an hour later, even though she knew we had to leave, and the problem was still unresolved. Instead, she blamed names. Our arrival had been announced, yet the rooms and bathroom still needed cleaning and preparation when we got there. The temperature only rose from 17.8 to a maximum of 18.6 degrees. I notified Mrs. Giulia, but she gave no effective response to fix it.

I’ve spent the week before Christmas at Mrs. Giulia’s apartment for the past three years, and we’ve always had a great time. There’s never been a problem with cleanliness or temperature. I’ll share my thoughts at the end of the weekend. Watch out for haters! Fingers crossed, and see you soon!

We had a delightful welcome, and the breakfast was excellent. The apartment is gorgeous, elegant, and clean, right in the center of Parma. It’s a perfect base for visiting the city center, which is spectacular at Christmas!

The staff are always available and professional. Giardino degli Artisti is in an excellent spot for exploring the city and enjoying the local food. If you’re after peace, comfort, and a warm welcome, you can’t beat it.
