We loved the pool views, which look out over all the lush greenery around Bardolino. The rosé they make is worth trying if you like wine, and their white wine was very good too. Our host was friendly and the staff helped us whenever we needed it. The rooms are thoughtfully laid out and equipped, with the character of an old building. It suited our three-night summer break perfectly. We’d love to come back 🥰

We’ve visited twice over the past ten years and plan to keep coming back. The hosts are easygoing and friendly, and we felt right at home. There’s a self-service bar and a lovely terrace for sitting with a drink and enjoying the scenery. The pool area has great views too. Our room was clean, and breakfast had everything we needed. Lake Garda and Verona are both close and easy to reach. We love this place!

The food was excellent. We had breakfast each morning and dinner a couple of times. The pool and gardens were kept beautifully, and there was always plenty of room to relax in the quiet. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with high ceilings, exposed wood, and tasteful decor. The owner and staff were welcoming and helpful without hovering. A lovely, peaceful place, highly recommended.

The setting is lovely, tucked among nature and vineyards away from the crowds around Lake Garda, though still close to towns and services. We stayed at Agriturismo Sambuco for about a week in August. The stay could have been much better. The owner spoke very little English, so it was hard to discuss the property properly, and we received almost no information when we arrived. An employee showed us to our room, then left us to it. We had expected there might be wine tastings or dinner, but nothing like that was arranged. Breakfast was quite poor. More effort to engage with guests would have made a difference.

Everything in the area was close by. We went to the fair in Verona, and the 20 km trip was worth it to stay surrounded by nature. Lazise is 6 km away, with lots of little restaurants serving good food.
