Cascina Ometto

A great spot for a laid-back summer break.

The garden is kept in great shape, and the pool is equipped. The house is comfortable and was recently renovated with real taste. There are lovely views and plenty of chances to hike or bike, plus the host is very kind. The Wi-Fi is impressively fast, which is rare in the area. A little paradise.

The private pool was lovely, surrounded by greenery, and the rustic house itself is beautiful. We booked the whole place, and it was peaceful, relaxing, and close to amenities, just minutes from Novi Ligure and Serravalle. There are paths nearby that are great for long walks in nature. The owners were so discreet that they never came by. We had to call to get someone to clean the pool, and only spoke with them at the end of our stay, when they asked us to leave even though we were observing check-out time, and then asked whether we had washed the dishes.

Cascina Ometto feels like a little paradise, with sunshine and warmth balanced by a cool breeze. The owner is wonderful and always ready to sort out any problem that comes up. There are two places to stay: a large one with several bedrooms, a big pool, a huge barbecue area and a soccer field, and a smaller one with one bedroom and a pull-out bed in the living room. Both have been newly renovated and are really beautiful. The smaller place has a private fenced courtyard with seating, a dining table and a lovely above-ground pool. Great for families wanting a few lovely days in the countryside, enjoying the pool.
