We had a lovely time unwinding by the pool and out on the deck at this historic villa, in such a beautiful setting. Maria Angela was a wonderful host and great company. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

The rooms are spacious and well cared for, and having a pool to cool off in after a hot day was a real bonus. Maria gave us great suggestions for nearby shops and restaurants, which helped make the stay memorable. She runs a lovely B&B in a historic mansion and is also passionate about producing high-quality olive oil and wines. We got to join her for a wine and oil tasting. If you love animals, there are plenty of furry friends on the property, so we were very happy.

We spent 10 days at agriturismo moricci and would definitely recommend it. Set on a hill, the property has lovely views all around, just as the pictures show. Maria and her husband were lovely hosts and gave us useful tips. Peccioli, a beautiful little town with restaurants, cafes, and shops, is only 5 minutes away by car. Volterra takes about 30 minutes and Lucca around 50, depending on traffic. Thank you, Maria!

Maria Angela was wonderful with us and our kids, and helped us in all sorts of ways, from suggesting places to visit to finding shops selling genuine food and good restaurants. Her organic olive oil and red wine are lovely, too. We had a great time at I Moricci, where there’s room to relax and lots to see nearby, including Volterra, San Geminiano, and many other places. The kids loved it. Highly recommended for families and for those without children. We’ll be back. Grazie ancora!

We stayed for two weeks during our month-long Italy trip, and this was the best experience of the whole journey. Maria Angela and Andrea were wonderful hosts, and the people, food, weather, and scenery were all amazing. We can’t wait to return!
