The location worked really well for day trips to Volterra and San Gimignano, and we loved staying at Podere Chiasso Gherardo. The view was spectacular, the service excellent, and our host Irene made us feel so welcome. We also really enjoyed the homemade tarts. Thank you for such warm hospitality! Best wishes, Aylin & Kerem

It’s a great base for excursions, and there’s a lovely walk among the cypress trees. We found the place comfortable and pleasant, enjoyed the homemade cakes and jams at breakfast, and made use of the terrace and table football.

Quiet and peaceful, with a romantic feel. Some of Tuscany’s most beautiful places are just a short distance away.

We spent our evenings on the porch swing, watching the stars, and wandered around the five-hectare grounds in the morning, picking peaches straight from the trees. The property and buildings are beautiful, with lots of space and care put into them. Our room was lovely, with a brand-new bathroom that was cleaned every day. Breakfast was typically Italian, but the details were handled with real care. The owner deserves a special mention for looking after guests so warmly. Everything felt just right.
