The restaurant is very good, although the rooms look a little dated. It’s a friendly hotel and restaurant about five minutes from the tollgate, with a small truck parking area and a guarded car park. Shops, a supermarket, and the sea are all around a ten-minute walk away.

The food was really good, but lunch and dinner service took far too long, even for a three-course meal. Breakfast options were very limited. The service itself was outstanding, though some things, like the towels and beds, weren’t great. There’s room for improvement.

Traveling by truck? I think this is definitely a good stop for the night. It also works for road trips, but not so well if you’re bringing kids.

Lovely place to park up and enjoy a meal. The food was fantastic, and the staff were nice.

The trucks parked outside might put you off, but don’t let them. The restaurant serves a great fish meal.
