I hadn't realized the Annual Jazz Festival was on, so hotel prices, especially in the historic centre, were sky-high. This place was still affordable and very well located, about five minutes uphill from Piazza Italia. There are nice cafés and restaurants nearby. The single room was a good size, with a comfy bed and high ceilings. The shared central hall has two decent bathrooms, one with a bath and a large shower. WiFi was fast, free, and good quality. They had courtesy face masks if you forgot yours. All public transport requires the medical ones. The owner was friendly and gave me great advice about places and routes. His suggestion to take the bus to Gubbio was spot on. The ride over the hills showed off Umbrian countryside at its best. For the best views going out, sit on the south-facing side. He also arranged an airport pickup for a reasonable price, and it was very efficient. It's a quirky building near Concervatorium. There was quite a bit of traffic on the street at night, though I got used to it. If you're tall, try for a room with a double bed if one is available. Simple, and especially good for the price. I'd give it 4.5 stars, rounded up to 5. Grazie!

The host stayed past check-in hours and waited until I arrived safely, without charging extra. I had to land in Rome instead of perugia because of extreme bad weather. He showed me around, suggested must-see places in perugia, and was helpful whenever I needed anything during my stay. The room was spotless and had a breathtaking view, both day and night. There are two bathrooms, a large kitchen, and a hall. Towels are supplied and the place is cleaned every day. It's a 5 to 10 minute walk from the centre. I'd definitely book here again if I visit.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the location was central but quiet. Our room was spacious, and the shared kitchen and living room had everything, including spices, sugar, coffee, and a moka pot. There were also two comfortable bathrooms. We'd definitely come back.

The room was large, and the place felt really pleasant and peaceful. It's close to the historic centre, restaurants, the minimetro, and the train station. Francesco kindly met me at the station.
