We had a beautiful, peaceful, romantic stay for three nights. The staff were professional and accommodating, and I absolutely recommend it. Loved it, and I hope to come back on my next trip to Italy!

I remember the beautiful interior from having dinner here several times, which makes it especially sad to see the castle shut to visitors and left unattended. It’s an imposing historic building above the whole Oscano River valley, in the Umbrian hills, and it deserves better than this disarray. I hope someone will step in and give this endlessly fascinating place new life. The institutions responsible for historic heritage have once again been absent and ineffective. Shame!
