House Volumnia

The manager was really kind, and our room was clean and well kept. We stayed for one night at this B&B and had a great time. We'd be happy to come back.

Luigi and his family made us feel at home from the moment we arrived at B&B Volumnia. Luigi was professional, kind, and very helpful, with great suggestions for places to see in Umbria. Our dog Flo was welcomed warmly too, which meant a lot to us. We went between December and January, and the location worked well as a base for exploring Umbria. It was easy to get to, and the private parking was very handy for traveling by car. The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless, and the private bathroom was just as clean and had everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly choose B&B Volumnia again on future trips to the region. Umbria felt like a fairytale, and the stay made it even more special.

The manager was really friendly, and the place is very clean with new furniture. The price seems fair for the downside, which is that it's literally beside the railway. The double glazing helps, but I still found it hard to sleep. I'd also replace the pillows, they're a hard, shapeless lump of cotton 😅

The room was spacious, spotless, and had every comfort. What really stayed with me, though, was Luigi's kindness. I was there for an Umbria Jazz evening, about a 10-minute drive away. I asked Luigi where to park, and he suggested Piazzale Partigiani, the biggest and most popular lot. I got ready and showered before heading out. He drove some other guests into town, then noticed the sign saying the lot was full when I was leaving for the Arena. He took me there himself for free. It really was full, so he wasn't trying to trick me. People like Luigi are why I can still hope for a better world. I'd give the place 10 stars if I could.
