La Petronilla

The host was very friendly, and the property was spotless. We stayed there with family a week ago in this peaceful, enchanting spot on a hillside of olive trees, within a medieval village full of old-world charm. It felt almost like being up in the clouds. There are brochures at the entrance with places to visit in this beautiful area. Breakfast isn't included, but the kitchenette makes it easy to sort something out. The price is more than reasonable. Highly recommend!

The owner was kind, affable, and competent, though unfortunately I only spoke with them by phone. I'd happily return, and there should be another chance to meet. The apartment in Montepetriolo is beautifully maintained, with thoughtful objects chosen to suit their purpose or reflect an earlier time. It feels as though time has stood still, in the best way. Even my four-legged friends could enjoy that atmosphere. I appreciated the property's rules, which are really just basic courtesy and peaceful coexistence, something often overlooked in the city. The village offers fresh air away from urban chaos, with discretion and calm that young people could appreciate more. Everything was impeccably clean.

The rooms have been renovated with great care, while the village itself has kept its old character. Everything was just right.

We had a wonderful view of the valley through the French windows to the balcony, and could even enjoy it lying in bed. The apartment is a charming antique-style place, fully renovated and spotlessly clean. The hosts were friendly and very helpful, and the location worked well for exploring Lake Trasimeno, Perugia, and the surrounding area. If there's one small drawback, it's the very soft mattress, though that's a matter of personal taste. Highly recommended!
