Hotel Villa Isa

Breakfast has to be ordered the night before, and it isn’t a buffet, so you can’t change or add anything later. The room was very spacious and had all the comforts. This is a very unusual hotel looking out over a busy main road. It’s enclosed by a barrier, which makes access awkward even on a motorcycle, though there is free parking on the side street.

At €150 for one night in low season, the room was expensive. I didn’t like having breakfast brought by room service, since we’d rather have slept, but we had to open the door and let the man in with the tray. The whole atmosphere felt unwelcoming, more like a dating room. The hotel was quite kitschy, and our very dark room had a jacuzzi next to the bed and fake rose petals everywhere. The mat around the tub smelled damp.

We still remember our wedding night here as a dream. The property was intimate, romantic, welcoming, and original, just beautiful. Isa, the owner, took care of all our needs and surprised us with thoughtful wedding details in the room. The staff were professional and friendly, and breakfast was brought to our room. Thanks again to Isa and everyone there.

My son came back saying the staff’s courtesy, helpfulness, and hospitality made his special day unique. I had booked the hot tub room as a gift for his 18th birthday with his girlfriend. I only made the reservation by phone, and the friendliness and assistance I got were excellent. My son sent me a detailed video of the room, which looked stunning and immaculately clean. A five-star recommendation!
