The house turned out even better than the photos, and it made a lovely refuge for us. There’s a welcoming living area with a sofa, TV, table, and a kitchen set up for cooking and eating. A small bedroom and a separate bedroom, a bathroom with tub and shower, plus a balcony with a drying rack and pegs round it out. The kitchen and bedroom doors have mosquito screens, so we could leave them open without letting insects in. There were masks and sanitizer waiting for us, and the WiFi password was at the workstation. Salvatore and his partner were kind and helpful from the booking onward. Just before we arrived, Salvatore got in touch to arrange check-in and met us at the entrance. He also offers taxi rides to and from the airport. From the train station, it’s a five-minute walk. Lidl, a pharmacy, and a bar are practically next door. For work, the fiber internet was great, and the house was quiet apart from traffic on the street below. It’s ideal for a couple, whether you’re in Pescara for work or a break. If we return, we’ll definitely stay at La casetta di Sasà again. Marco and Grazia

I was happy with the stay overall, and the host was friendly and helpful. The apartment is genuinely spacious, cute, and welcoming. Some details could use updating or repair: the faucets have no mixer and don’t close at the elbow, the tub reportedly needs replacing because a lot of water leaks, and the mattresses weren’t comfortable, along with a few other small things. Still, it was a positive experience.
