I picked this place for the pool, but lots of things turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Directions on Maps were clear and got me there easily. Lorena has taken over the hotel and brought it to another level. Our room had a terrace overlooking the pool, and the bed was comfortable, with four pillows to choose from. There were more families with little kids than couples, but I didn’t hear any noise. Breakfast had plenty of choices, including gluten-free food, options for someone like me with diabetes, and the classic Italian breakfast. I stayed one night in August and would definitely come back.

The room was cold and extremely dirty, and when we complained, the host yelled at us in Italian, swore, and chased us out. We had to leave and urgently look for somewhere else to sleep instead of enjoying our holiday. We couldn’t stay there because the room lacked basic warmth and cleanliness, and the host had frightened us. It felt completely unsafe. We complained on booking. There were also plenty of other reviews describing similarly horrible experiences, and their ratings could at least help people be careful. But recently the owner deleted all the reviews from previous years. Now they have 11 reviews and a very good rating. How sad.

The staff greeted us warmly, and the rooms were big and cozy. We only stayed one night. There wasn’t restaurant service, but the next morning we got a family-friendly breakfast. Thank you!

Great value for money. The owner and staff were friendly, and the food and service were exemplary. The room was lovely, with a balcony, and the pool and terrace were excellent.

There’s a very nice restaurant on the hotel grounds, run by the owner’s wife. The menu is limited, but the food is extremely nice. It’s also a great place to stay.
