That quiet room was just what we needed after driving in from the US and dealing with jet lag. We could head out for hikes right from the door, and after another hike farther away, it felt like a sanctuary to come back to. Room #2, with the bathtub, was perfect. The finishes and furnishings were high quality, and breakfast was wonderful. We had a great three-night stay.

After a day out, or a day in the snow, the comfortable, well-kept room was a lovely place to unwind. The bathtub was a real highlight. Breakfast was good and had plenty of variety, and the central spot made it easy to walk around Pescasseroli's city center. Highly recommended.

The worst part was waking up every morning from 7:45 onward to dishes clattering, staff working, and guests eating breakfast. A thin door was all that separated our room from the breakfast room, so there was no real peace or privacy. We were also given no indication when booking that the room had no window, which is a serious problem for anyone even slightly claustrophobic. The central location and renovated building were positives, but the stay was disappointing for us.

That elegant bathtub in the room really made the stay. We had plenty of space in both the room and bathroom, a large shower, a desk, and excellent Wi-Fi. I even managed a work meeting without any trouble. There's no air conditioning, but we didn't find we needed it. The location is very central for seeing Pescasseroli on foot. I wondered if parking might be hard in peak season, but we had no trouble. Highly recommended.
