The place was warm, spotless, and really cosy, and the location is ideal, right in the centre. We only stayed one night, so maybe the kitchenette dishes hadn't been put out, but I would've liked a cup and something to heat water in. I'd happily come back.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere and our kind host. It's an old, characterful building in the historic centre, so the plumbing and furnishings have a few age-related quirks. Best to appreciate it for what it is.

The rooms are spacious and elegant, though simple, and the place is wonderfully quiet. Staying there had a bit of a castle feel.

Breakfast was a highlight, especially the treats from the ancient Pescasseroli bakery. They were like little clouds of sweetness, far more than ordinary slices of cake. The owner was courteous and kind, and we had a lovely weekend. Our room in the large old building was clean and roomy, with a comfortable bed, and linens and towels were supplied. There are fireplaces on every floor. We brought our large dog and had no issues at all, though our pet is obviously well-behaved. Reservations are recommended.

This is already our second visit, and it remains our favourite spot in Pescasseroli. We could bring our Maremma Sheepdog, and Salvatore and the staff were so welcoming and kind. The property has a lovely rustic brick-and-stone look, while the rooms have all the comforts you need. Breakfast was perfect, with delicious cakes and pies. Thank you 🤍
