The setting in the Abruzzo National Park is stunning, and this place offers peace, comfort, and all the amenities, just steps from the town center. A good choice for a vacation, though it doesn't provide hotel services.

It's a typical residence for the area, maintained well but unmistakably 1970s in style. The noise was constant: water draining, families, diesel engines, dogs, and children. Nature is beautiful, but Pescasseroli is best off-season. A lone wolf's advice.

The residence concierges are helpful, and the village has all the amenities you need. It's a convenient, more affordable way to spend time in the mountains surrounded by nature than staying at the area's various hotels. I'd pick June to September or December to January.
