The beds were a real surprise: new, with firm, genuinely comfortable mattresses. I slept better here than in much pricier hotels. Breakfast and coffee were another highlight. The coffee was the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. They seem to use automatic machines, but the result was better than at many famous coffee bars in the old town. You have to try it to believe it. The hotel has had some renovation and is well worth what you pay. Parking was fine for a place of this category. The location is great for getting around, with about a 10-minute walk to the famous old town in the Porte, and it’s handy for biking too. In terms of atmosphere, though, it’s beside a road, with lots of traffic and not much charm close by. Cycling means riding on traffic roads, so it isn’t especially relaxed or cosy. What a nice surprise overall, definitely recommended.

We picked Peschiera del Garda as our base for travelling around Lake Garda. Because we arrived very late, check-in was unstaffed, but the instructions were clear and detailed. The room was clean and fairly comfortable, with a luxurious bed. Breakfast was definitely better than you’d expect from a two-star hotel. Marco, who worked at the bar and reception, made the strongest impression. He’s a real asset to the business, and you could say Bel Sito has its own San Marco)))

The breakfast was excellent. The team there were professional and focused on guests, keeping the area clean and regularly topping up the food. Our room had also just been renovated. Marco at reception especially stood out. He puts 150 percent into his work and making sure guests have a good experience. Wow, thank you!

Breakfast was awesome, a buffet with pretty much everything you could want to eat and drink to set you up for the day. The room was clean and spacious, with a very comfortable bed. The pillows were so good we were tempted to take them, but we want to stay on friendly terms and come back one day! Marco greeted us when we arrived and made us feel welcome. He was courteous and polite. I’d recommend the place to anyone, and it’s dog friendly too.

The old town is beautiful and about a 10-minute walk away. The beach is a bit farther on foot. We had a nice stay at this friendly hotel. Marco at reception was very kind, the room and bathroom were both big enough and clean, and breakfast was surprisingly good.
