Our kids were thrilled to spend time with Fanny, Joy, and Ross, the friendly dogs. We all felt welcome right from the start, with a lovely family atmosphere. Elisabetta and Giulia looked after us so well, and their cocktails were great. They also gave us genuinely useful ideas for places to see and eat. The pool was spotless and beautiful, and the spacious garden had plenty of tables and seats for relaxing. We had a great time as a family, and breakfast brought fresh homemade cakes every day. A big thank you from papà Puffo, apetta, internazionale, la prof and Gio!

Giulia and Elizabeta took great care of us, and the food and service were excellent. They also had useful suggestions for restaurants and excursions. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the shared spaces, indoors and out, were lovely. All set in beautiful surroundings.

After a full day of sightseeing, this was such a relaxing place to come back to. Giulia’s warm, welcoming manner made us feel at home, and the property was beautifully kept. Our room was comfortable and clean, with the feel of a proper bed and breakfast and a little more. There’s free parking at the property, and Pianoro’s train station is conveniently close if you’d rather get around without driving. Parking at the station is free too.

We were well looked after by the really friendly staff, and the apartment was lovely. Breakfast was amazing, with snacks and smoothies offered during the day as well. There are challenging routes nearby for hiking, running, and cycling. Bologna is around 30 minutes away, and several lovely towns are closer if you don’t fancy that drive. Definitely recommend it.

We could happily have stayed longer, and we’ll definitely return. Pizzicalaluna felt like our Italian home almost as soon as we arrived. Giulia, elisabeth and yaya were wonderful hosts; the rooms were just right, the food was delicious, and there were fun activities and great wines.
