Casa Newton

The team made us feel like family, and their attention to the little things was incredible. We spent three nights here and loved the gorgeous rooms and property from the moment we arrived. The pizza was great for a relaxed meal, and I’d also suggest a cocktail at the bar, a visit to their lovely winery, and dinner at Ortus. One of my favorite hotel stays ever.

The gardens by Luciano Giubbilei are wonderful, and the food was excellent too. The rooms and decor were a 10/10, with interiors painted by Nicolas Party in the chapel. Just incredible, one of Tuscany’s most magical places.

Marta’s pizza class was a highlight. She was great, and we loved the beautiful property, which is only about 10 minutes from Montepulciano and Pienza. We did find the food and drink service areas a little awkward. We often had to ask first for menus and then again to order. The bars only stock local products, so you can’t get every familiar drink, and I don’t think we were told that before we arrived. Still, it’s a beautiful spot and we’ll definitely come back. We had a wonderful stay at Casa Newton!

Casa Newton shows how well a place can keep its authentic character while bringing in modern design. The owners were so friendly, and the staff were kind and amazing. The food is fresh, with produce from their own garden. The service, design, and attention to detail were incredible. This place is a 10 out of 5, 20 out of 10.
