Villa PoliFlora

We’ve just spent an unbelievable week at Villa PoliFlora in Tuscany. The hosts were kind and generous, answering our questions as best they could despite our mix of English and Spanish and their Italian. Our two bedroom, two bath apartment was cozy, and the location was excellent. Monticchielo is a short walk up the hill, with three very good restaurants. From there, it’s easy to drive to several hill towns, and Siena is about an hour away through absolutely gorgeous countryside. GO.

We stayed three weeks in the garden apartment, on the garden floor, with parking right outside the door. Futura and her parents were unbelievably hospitable, and we’ve never had such a wonderful experience. The apartment has all the amenities and extras you could think of, including a fully equipped kitchen, great water pressure, and plenty of hot water. There’s nothing negative to say about the place. The zigzag Italian cypress trees are a ten-minute walk away, a small market is one minute away, and the village with its restaurants is five minutes away. Right outside the door, a quiet street connects to roads leading to Montepulciano, Siena, Pienza, and nearby towns. We had a beautiful experience and highly recommend this gorgeous place.

The apartment was just right for what we needed and made our vacation excellent. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality and help. We can strongly recommend Poliflora apartment and Futura as a host.
