It felt like staying in a friend’s beautiful home. The staff were some of the kindest, most helpful people we met, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The views are incredible, the kind photos can’t quite capture. We spent three very relaxing nights at this special property. The hotel food and drinks were terrific, and they were very flexible about preferences. You can eat there or head into nearby towns. We can’t wait to return.

The food was fresh and delicious, and you can watch it being cooked just like at home. The staff were friendly and the service felt wonderfully homely. Thank you Paolo, Alessio and of the staff for being so kind. We came at the end of our ten-day Tuscany trip, and I’m glad we did. If we’d stayed here first, the lovely experience and food might have spoiled the rest of the trip. We like small hotels surrounded by nature wherever we travel, and this is now our number one. Sorry Golden Rock in Nevis, you’ve moved to second place. Stay here if you want to head home feeling rejuvenated and ecstatic, enjoy wonderful wines, and spend time in a clean place with a modern feel. I thought about calling it magical or paradise, but those words felt too clichéd.

The staff went out of their way to help us plan day trips, and the estate itself is beautiful. La Bandita was so peaceful, and we loved the breakfast and dinner. It was a perfect Tuscan stay. We’ll definitely be back!

I’ve worked as a tour guide for 32 years and have never come across such an awful place at such a high price. It was like hell!
