Ostello Villafranca

We stayed at Ostello Villafranca with our two small children, and I'd definitely return. The husband-and-wife team were helpful the whole time, even sharing their knowledge on a public holiday to help sort out a problem with my car. The place is modern, efficient, and always clean, with parking and a glass-enclosed annex for a hearty breakfast. It's an excellent winter base if you want to use the nearby Sellata ski lifts, and in other seasons it's a good spot for enjoying the quiet and views, as well as tracking and biking. The owners can point you to excellent places for lunch and dinner where you won't spend a fortune and can try local delicacies. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pignola and the surrounding area. It was an EXCELLENT personal experience for me and my family.

Rooms were warm and super clean, and the bathroom was clean and heated too. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Amazing property. We recommend it, and thank the owners again, you're fantastic! 🤍

There's a small library and information about Basilicata, as well as a conservatory where you can have breakfast. The place is clean, well kept, and welcoming, with a large outdoor parking area. Thanks to Mr. Ignazio for being so available. Carmelo

The hosts are discreet, kind, and helpful, ready to accommodate any request. It's comfortable, spotless, and organized down to the last detail, and the breakfast is satisfying and high-quality.
