Clean mountain setting, beautiful place, and a fair price for the Amalfi cost. It gives access to Paths of God's. I’d come back. Francesco is amazing.

The apartment was spotless in the bedroom and bathroom, and we appreciated having a washing machine. Still, the rest of the place needs attention. The kitchen had no sponge, so we used toilet paper, and there was old ice cream left in the fridge. The pans were old and so dirty we couldn’t use them. There was no kettle or coffee maker, just a small espresso maker (1 pence), and the old knife couldn’t even cut tomatoes. The living room sofa was very uncomfortable, as you can see in the photos. The apartment is on the third floor with no elevator, beside the road between two bends. Drivers honk to signal each other, so it’s noisy, and traffic woke us at 6:00 AM. We couldn’t do anything without a car, and Amalfi is 25 km away, about an hour’s drive. The breakfast setup hasn’t changed despite previous guests complaining. The owner still rents it this way with breakfast included, but all you get for the whole stay is non-perishable crackers and marmalade. Nobody wants that same selection for five days. If breakfast had been decent, I’d have given four stars. I mean the criticism constructively, as it helps people improve.

Clean and with a superb view, this apartment is well placed for Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. Everything else was fine, but breakfast wasn’t included as advertised. There were only a few rusks and some jam in the cupboard, plus a small Italian coffee maker that makes enough for just two people.

A good spot for a relaxing stay, with a central location among the Sorrento Peninsula’s main cultural and entertainment attractions, Pompeii included. The hotel and its friendly, welcoming staff were very helpful and attentive to guests’ needs.
