Tenuta Miranda Agriresort

The mountain setting is beautiful, with a lovely view. I stayed in two different rooms during our visit, and both were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff were polite, incredibly helpful, and went out of their way to make sure my family and I had everything we needed. I’d highly recommend the hotel and would love to return.

The restaurant downstairs deserves a review of its own. The food and wine were divine, especially the sparkling red wine from Gragnano. Antonio, the sous chefs, Gennaro, and Salvadore were incredibly hospitable, even with the language barrier, and took such good care of us. We were so full we could barely manage the 20 steps back to our room. Breakfast the next morning was just as fantastic. We were honored to be the first guests of the season. Ida Sophia and Pasquale were responsive and helpful even before we arrived in Italy, and arranged a private transfer from Pompeii, then a ride to a bus stop for our next Airbnb in another remote spot. I can’t imagine how we’d otherwise have got there. The resort was pristine, and the rooms looked just like the pictures. The view really was that picturesque, like a postcard. The sheets smelled amazing, though I don’t know what they wash them with. When the doorknob gave us trouble, Pasquale came to help within minutes. It was a quiet, immersive Italian countryside getaway, and we loved it.

We had a great time thanks to Pasquale, his aunt, and the rest of the family. This beautifully renovated, family-owned estate has fewer than 10 rooms and sits between Amalfi and Sorrento, so it really does give you the best of both worlds. The rooms are big and very clean. Spend a day by the lovely pool with good cocktails and fresh vegetables from their own garden, then finish with homemade limoncello. Marpione Olandese ;)

The pool area is stunning, and the staff were kind and helpful. We had a lovely stay, with good breakfast and an amazing setting. You definitely need a car. The only things that could've been better were the lack of a kettle for tea or coffee and the two single beds pushed together, which kept coming apart.
