Cerrano Park Resort

The apartment was large, but very worn and showing its age. The shower enclosures were broken, grimy, and leaky. It was noisy: from the terrace we could hear traffic on the main road and trains passing every 10 minutes. There was construction noise all day at the front, and some apartments were occupied by construction workers who were loud in the evenings. The pool wasn’t open, despite the summer weather and many guests. Supposedly, guests were told when booking that it would only open from 15.06, but I wasn’t aware of that. The whole outdoor area, including the rubbish shelter, was dirty and neglected. It didn’t feel as though guests were really welcome. Otherwise, someone would check on the place regularly and take care of it.

For the price of an apartment in Stegna, you get a two-room place on the Italian coast with a sea view. The sea is just a five-minute walk away, and the beach is wide and quiet. One thing about the pool, though: there are no umbrellas, so there’s nowhere to get out of the sun.

The air conditioning worked really well, but the Wi-Fi was terrible. This place has a lot of potential, though it hasn’t been fully realized because management seems lazy about both cleaning and keeping the rooms maintained.

The affiliated beach is a five-minute walk by road, or ten minutes if you go through a lovely pine forest with a bar and restaurant. We stayed at the resort for 15 days and had a great time. Our large apartment was on two levels and had two bathrooms.
