There was a camera in the corridor, and another in one of the rooms where the water heater was. That didn't feel comfortable. The bathroom was off the corridor rather than in the room, which was inconvenient. The owner didn't seem to understand that a B&B should include breakfast. There was only a microwave and fridge, with no plates, knives, spoons, or glasses, and she wasn't happy about us eating in our room. With no kitchen or dining room, there was nowhere else to eat besides the bedrooms or little corridor. She speaks only Italian and doesn't understand English. She ignored the stated check-in time and made us leave earlier than we were meant to. She also made fun of people for being fat and said a lot about non-European nationalities being filthy and noisy, which I found unacceptable. We'd asked her several times not to enter our room, but she went in while we were out, rearranged our belongings, and took things she thought were trash. Avoid this place.

We only stayed one night, so the noisy air conditioner and weak Wi-Fi didn't bother us much. The room and bathroom were very clean. Maria was kind throughout and did her best to understand us despite not speaking English. She even helped arrange a taxi to the train station. The Leaning Tower is about a 25-minute walk away, and the bus stop is roughly nine minutes on foot.

They ask for an extra 25€ in the room. Contacting reception took an hour and nobody answered, so it wasn't clear where to find accommodation or how to get there. When I asked what the charge was for, they said the matter was closed and kicked me out. The worst apartments!

Our bathroom was outside the room, which was inconvenient. At check-in, scheduled for 15:30, the host kept us waiting outside a residential building with no lobby for half an hour. Once we got in, she didn't speak English and abruptly told us to leave because of cleaning. She complained about noise on the first day, which confused me, and on the second night we even tried to save water and didn't shower. At checkout she hurried us out and told us to dispose of our own trash. The landlady also behaved in a racist way. This was the most disappointing hotel experience I've had.
