Hotel Giardino Tower Inn

We got no sleep. The room was completely unsuitable for guests, right on the ground floor beside the front door. Every time someone came in, a bell rang just outside our room. We had to keep the windows shut because there was a permanent market right outside, with people constantly passing by and no privacy. Vendors came back to their stalls in the early hours, making a lot of noise. The room door opened onto reception, so anyone queuing in the hallway to check in could see straight into the bedroom and bathroom. We complained twice, but neither time did the staff show any compassion for our situation. I asked for a partial refund because we couldn’t sleep, but they refused. This room cost £110. Outrageous!

We were a family of four, with children aged 7 and 4, and the room worked perfectly for us. It was spacious and clean, with all the amenities, including a smart TV and fridge. The staff made everything easy, helped us with recommendations, and let us leave our bags before check-in, then brought them up to the room. The tower and other buildings are within a 2 minute walk. Incredible location. I’d highly recommend it.

It’s a lovely place, with cozy, clean rooms, and the receptionists are happy to answer questions. The best part is how close it is to the Tower of Pisa, about a minute away. There’s no breakfast option, though that wasn’t much of a problem since there are a dozen restaurants within walking distance. Also, there’s no elevator, which could be an issue for some people.
