We picked this hotel because it sits right among the main attractions, and it’s very convenient for getting around. Breakfast was enough to get us going in the morning, and the people running the place were lovely. It’s almost like a museum. There are also private apartments inside where people live, so be careful not to wander into one by mistake like I did.

The location right on the main street made it easy to get everywhere, and the price was surprisingly reasonable. My wife gave me serious brownie points, that’s English for appreciation, for finding it. But the real highlight is the decor: those painted ceilings are glorious, and they make you feel like a king. I am a king, of course, so nothing new there. Cleanliness cost it a star, and the reception staff could’ve been just a weeny bit friendlier.

The person at reception was kind, helpful and cheerful, and I really enjoyed my stay. The room was tiny but useful and cute, with pretty old-style furnishings, a comfortable bed and working air conditioning. It was clean too. There was some outside noise early in the morning, around 6am, but otherwise things were good. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Pise Centale train station and around 1 km from Pisa Tower. Sesta Porto bus station is a 15-minute walk away, and Tirrenia beach takes about 30-40 minutes to reach from there. What more can I say? I’d definitely recommend it. Thanks a lot! :)

Worst experience ever. I wouldn’t recommend this at all. The place didn’t look like the pictures, and even one star feels too generous. And if you run out of breakfast, don’t worry, there are mushrooms growing in your room! 😡

I booked the cheapest room, so for the price it wasn’t bad. Still, the photos on Booking had me expecting a slightly higher standard.
